May 2010 - Best answering percentage 77%.

YahooAnswers Enquire best answer percentage May10

Enquire remains Yahoo!Answers UK & Ireland top performing Knowledge Partner. Enquire has achieved an answering percentage in excess of 70% since becoming a Knowledge Base member in December 2007. We are currently the Knowledge Partner with the highest answering percentage.

This is voted for by the Yahoo!Answers community, proving that even to those who think that libraries cannot help them, we can and we do each and every day.  It is also testimony to the engagement and hard work that Enquire staff put into the national service - a service that is staffed by libraries for library users wherever they may be and at whatever hour they may want to know an answer.

Here's a reminder of the fantastic quote from Yahoo!Answers thanking us for our participation:

“As the Yahoo! UK & Ireland Answers Community Manager I’m delighted to have Enquire as a contributor to our site. At the time of writing they have a staggering 77% Best Answer ratio – meaning 77% of the time the users or the community think their answer is higher quality, more engaging and adds more value to them than all the other answers given. Trust me when I say this is a massive achievement for Enquire and currently makes them one of the leading UK & Ireland’s leading Yahoo! Answers contributors.

The quality of the answers provided reflects to our 7 million UK & Ireland users that they are a leading expert in the reference field, with a vast repository of knowledge in libraries available at their fingertips to share with the Answers online community. This gift of experience and knowledge is invaluable to the Answers community, as the exceptional 77% Best Answer ratio proves!”
